Documentation:

• summary: The data set consists of current speed and direction, echo and temperature data measured by the oceanographic mooring deployed in the Corsica Channel (Mediterranean Sea). The oceanographic mooring and all its instruments are managed and operated by CNR-ISMAR. The oceanographic mooring is operated according to Quality Assessment procedures, and data are processed for Quality Control and standardized in their format according to the OceanSITES Data Format Reference Manual. Data access tools are compliant to Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), Climate and Forecast (CF) convention and INSPIRE directive. The use of netCDF format allows an easy implementation of all the open source services developed by UNIDATA.

• rights: The dataset is licensed according to CLIVAR (Climate Varibility and Predictability) standards, cf. http://www.clivar.org/resources/data/data-policy. Data available free of charge.
